British citizenship test changes in Jersey from April
The debate over the importance of the test is an old one. The government has turned the test into something which is ridiculous. The questions on the test are so unimportant and ridiculous that even their own citizens have no idea what exactly the answers are. The test is very outdated. There have been requests and protests asking to remove the test altogether by many academics and such as they say the test is an insult and a dirty trick to keep the immigrants from being able to stay in the UK. This is all said and done by people who themselves are British citizens and not by someone outside Britain. Recent research with 270 British citizens who were asked to take the UK citizenship test which more than 90% of them failed led to the realisation of how much of a waste of time and money this test is.
